Return and cancellation policy

The short version

Software is licensed, and services are delivered as work. Because both involve setup effort that begins as soon as you engage us, refunds are handled according to what has already been delivered rather than as an automatic entitlement. The specific terms for your engagement are the ones in your signed agreement.

Software subscriptions

• Subscriptions run for the period stated in your proposal, usually monthly or annually.
• You may choose not to renew at the end of a period. Tell us before the renewal date and no further charge is raised.
• Fees for a period that has already started are generally not refundable, because the licence and the support for that period have been made available to you.
• One-time setup, configuration, data migration and training charges are not refundable once that work has been carried out.

Service engagements

For website development, app development, design, search optimisation, social media and advertising work:

• If you cancel before work begins, any advance is refunded in full.
• If you cancel after work has begun, we account for the work completed up to that point. The balance, if any, is refunded.
• Amounts already paid to third parties on your behalf, such as advertising spend, domain registration or hosting, cannot be refunded.

If something is not right

If a deliverable does not match what was agreed in the proposal, tell us. Our first step is always to correct it, and that is usually the quickest outcome for both sides. Raise it with us at [email protected] with the details, and we will respond.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Write to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, stating what you are cancelling and why. We will confirm receipt and tell you what happens next.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned by the same method the original payment was made, to the same account. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.
